How it works

Three steps, end-to-end. You sign once and we handle the rest.

  1. 1

You sign a power of attorney at home

We send you a draft poder notarial in English (or German / Spanish). You sign it before any notary in your country, get it apostilled, and post it to us. Day 1–7.

  2. 2

    We file in Spain

We translate, book the appointment, attend the Comisaría or Oficina de Extranjería, and collect the NIE certificate. You don't have to be present. Day 7–18.

  3. 3

    NIE certificate to your inbox

Scan emailed the same day, original couriered to your address. Ready to use at the notary, the bank, the property registry — anywhere in Spain. Day 18–21.

What's included — and what isn't

No surprise line items. We send a fixed-fee quote when you enquire so you know the total before you sign anything.

Fixed-fee quote on enquiry — covers our work end-to-end:
  • Drafting the bilingual poder notarial
  • Booking the Spanish appointment
  • Attending in person at the relevant office
  • Collecting and verifying the NIE certificate
  • Original couriered to your address
  • One point of contact through the whole process

Plus actual costs you'd pay anyway: €9.84 official AEAT fee, €100–€250 apostille & sworn translation in your home country, courier to your address.

Quick FAQ

How long does the NIE process take?

Typically 2–3 weeks end-to-end once your signed and apostilled power of attorney is in our hands. The Spanish appointment itself is usually 7–14 days; we add buffer for translation and document delivery.

Do I need to travel to Spain?

No. The whole process is handled by us via notarial power of attorney signed in your home country. You stay where you are.

What does the fee cover?

Our legal work end-to-end: drafting the power of attorney, booking the appointment, attending in person at the relevant office, collecting the certificate, and couriering it to you. We send a fixed-fee quote on enquiry. Excludes the €9.84 official AEAT fee and the apostille / sworn translation cost in your home country (typically €100–€250).
